Today, North County FBLA had our District Leadership Conference Competition at Arcadia Valley High School. Annemarie Sheets presided over the events as President of District 12. Mia Rizo was re-elected as a district officer for 2026-2027 in the role of VP of Communications.

Congratulations to all of these people who medaled at this event. Many individuals qualified for state competition as well. Overall, we had over 20 state qualifiers and 45 medalists at DLC. Great job North County FBLA!!

On Monday, December 1st we had guest speaker Lilly Gibson come into NCHS to speak with our Careers, Entrepreneurship, and JAG classes. Lilly works for Local 36 as a union welder. She also serves as a union representative as well for women within this union faction. She gave the students the perspective of trade from the female side and to help create empowerment for other women to consider the field of welding. Thanks Lilly for sharing your time with us!!
