The Israelites had seen God split a sea, rain down food from the sky, and lead them out of slavery and still fear rewrote the whole story. Fear convinced them that God had only brought them that far to desert them. Listen to the full sermon as guest speaker Matthew Lucio challenges us to look at how fear shapes our view of God.

After you listen to the full sermon, come back and answer these questions to reflect more:
1. Where in your life has fear distorted how you see yourself or your situation?
2. Can you trace a moment where God carried you to where you are now? What does that tell you about what's ahead?
3. What story are you currently telling about what God is doing in your life and is fear shaping that story?
4. Are you serving God out of love, or is fear quietly driving the wheel?
5. What giant in your life might look very different if you viewed it standing next to Jesus?

Have you stopped to think about how exhaustion and frustration affect your faith? Without realizing it, you stop praying and start problem solving. Which really means you stop trusting and start controlling. Moses was one of the most faithful people in all of Scripture, and even he hit a wall. Grieving, tired, and leading people who doubted his every move, he did what any of us would do, he took matters into his own hands. What we learn through this story isn't about Moses' failure but about a God who showed up anyway to provide the water even when Moses got it wrong. That's the kind of faith that's actually sustainable. Faith that's held together by a God who stays faithful even when you don't. If you've been trying to hold everything together on your own lately, listen to the latest sermon as Worship Director Anthony Bolden breaks down exactly what it looks like to live out your faith when you're running on empty.
