Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to host the annual Boardman Cemetery Halloween Open House. We hope to host this much-loved event next year. Should you wish to schedule a private tour of the cemetery grounds, please send us a message.

The Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission will host a Memorial Day event at Boardman Cemetery on Monday, May 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Join us for a special Cemetery Symbolism Tour on Thursday, July 20 at 6 p.m. Free event! No registration required! Cemetery gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Have you ever wandered through a cemetery and wondered about the meanings of the designs carved on old gravestones? The symbols found on headstones usually possess special meanings to those interred in their final resting place. But what do they mean? Visit our cemetery and find out!

We will also discuss the impact of Victorian gardening on cemeteries and how rare prairie plants were found in our pioneer cemeteries.

The Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission will be hosting its Boardman Cemetery Halloween open house on Monday, October 31 from 5-9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations gratefully accepted.
In addition to Trick-or-Treating, free tours of the cemetery will be available every 20 minutes. Join us for this family-friendly Halloween event!
