🇺🇸 Thank You for Supporting Operation Support Our Troops!

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, energy, and enthusiasm on Tuesday evening for our service project supporting Operation Support Our Troops. We came together to cut fabric patterns for stockings. We look forward to continuing this project as we sew, fill, and prepare these stockings for shipment in the months ahead.

Every pattern cut is one step closer to delivering a message of appreciation to those who are deployed in service to our country.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated fabric and other materials to make these stockings possible. Your generosity helps us reach more service members with these care packages.

A special thank you to Run Inn Pizza - Bolingbrook for hosting us. You provided a great space, fantastic service, and delicious food.

Together, we're making a difference and showing our gratitude to those who serve.

Last week we welcomed Bernard Bartelli from Literacy Dupage as our speaker. He shared the great work the organization is doing an d their need for more volunteer English Language tutors.

Thanks to everyone who helped us clean up Rotary Park this week. We picked up litter around the playground and in the pond and refreshed the mulch around several trees.

It was great to see so many family members join in the clean up since school is out.

A special thanks to Bolingbrook Park District for coordinating the supplies for the clean up.

Another great morning serving with friends and neighbors to distribute food with the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The morning started rainy, but the sun was out by the end of our shift.

This mobile food pantry takes place the first Tuesday of each month at Bolingbrook High School.
