“Winning the scratch race felt really special. I feel like I have made a lot of progress and come a long way from where I was last year. There is still a lot of work to do, but I am excited to keep building and continue this journey.
There really is no substitute for racing. My coach Kristin has helped bring me to a good fitness level, and now I am learning the craft of track racing again. Even after two Olympic Games on the track, the racing has changed so much. “Im really happy that we decided to head over to Trinidad and Tobago for the C1 racing this past weekend. It was the most fun I’ve had racing and nice to be part of such a well run event. 
I hadnt been on the track since nationals, and without much specific prep was unsure where I would be at. When the racing started it all felt really natural being back on the boards. I was pleased with my results over the weekend and especially happy to finally put together a really consistent omnium to finish in 2nd place behind Marlies.” - Rylee McMullen
