Our third Women in Semiconductors Night was a huge success!
Open to all students, this event brought together an incredible panel from Micron, Tokyo Electron, and Boise State, who shared about how to dive into careers in semiconductors, the role of AI, and how to make the most of educational pathways for future success.
From insightful advice to meaningful conversations, students had the chance to ask questions, build connections, and get a real look at what comes next after college.
Thank you to Micron, TEL, Boise State COEN faculty, and UPWARDS for the Future for making opportunities like this possible! ๐ก

Starting this spring, and thanks to a $1.7M Idaho Workforce Development grant, the IML is expanding its space, upgrading technology, and creating more hands-on opportunities for the next generation of semiconductor innovators.
From advanced equipment to student-designed wafer fabrication, this transformation will support 220+ learners and strengthen Idahoโs growing semiconductor workforce.
Led by Dr. Paul Davis, the construction is scheduled to be completed this August ahead of the next school year.
Follow along for monthly updates as the IML takes shape over the coming months!
