Join us at the State Capitol Rotunda for our annual Martin Luther King Jr. - Idaho Human Rights Day Celebration. Gov. Brad Little will join Maime Oliver, Ph.D, for the event. Oliver is an ordained minister, educator, psychotherapist and author. She served as a tenured professor of social work and as the internship coordinator at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

Bilingualism in Lieu of Language Deprivation
This workshop highlights the importance of providing Deaf children with diverse language opportunities, offering strategies to support language development and communication. Participants will explore how the IFSP and IEP can be used to create a strong foundation for a child’s growth, ensuring access to language resources and fostering their success.
