🙈🙈🙈 we see this way to often on newer Honda,Kawasaki and Ducati Showa 49MM forks. The dual metal bushings on the free piston, wear out fast and cause internal scoring and deep scratches on the cartridge tanks. These OEM forks had about 20hr on them and unfortunately 1 Tank needs to be replaced. To avoid this from happening we replace the metal bushings with a 1 piece Low-friction Composite wear band as shown in last image.
