🚗🐾 Please Think Twice Before Leaving Your Dog in the Car 🐾🚗

These two are all smiles on a car ride — but even on a mild day, a parked car can turn dangerous fast for our furry friends.

Here's what a lot of pet parents don't realize:
🌡️ On a 75°F day, a car's interior can reach over 100°F in just 10 minutes
🐶 Dogs cool themselves by panting, which becomes far less effective in a hot, enclosed space
⏱️ Heatstroke can set in quickly, and it can be fatal without prompt treatment
🪟 Cracking the windows does NOT meaningfully lower the temperature

Signs of heatstroke to watch for:
✅ Heavy panting or drooling
✅ Weakness or wobbliness
✅ Bright red gums or tongue
✅ Vomiting
✅ Collapse

If you ever see a dog showing these signs, move them to a cool area, offer water, and get to a vet immediately — every minute matters.
