For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…
Romans 1:16

The world encourages us to keep our faith private, to stay quiet when God’s truth is unpopular, and to blend in rather than stand apart. But the Gospel was never meant to be hidden.

Paul’s words remind us that the Gospel is not something to be embarrassed by, it is the very power of God that changes lives, redeems hearts, and brings salvation. As Christians, we are called to live boldly, speak truth with love, and stand firmly in our convictions regardless of the cultural pressure around us.

Being unashamed means being faithful. It means living in such a way that our words, actions, and priorities point others to Christ.

Stand firm. Live boldly. Be unashamed.

Today is not about us.

Memorial Day belongs to the men and women who gave everything in service to this country, and to the families who continue carrying that sacrifice long after the war ended.

Some never came home.
Some gave their future so others could keep theirs.

Today we remember them with gratitude, humility, and honor.

And in remembering them, we should ask ourselves a difficult question:

Are we living lives worthy of their sacrifice?

Lives marked by courage instead of comfort.
Conviction instead of complacency.
Purpose instead of selfishness.

May we never take lightly the freedoms that were purchased at such a high cost.

Pray for the families who still carry loss today.
Pray for peace, strength, and comfort over homes forever changed by sacrifice.

And may we honor the fallen not only with words, but by how we live.

Freedom is never free.
Today we remember those who paid for it with everything.

Pray for Peace. Prepare for War.

We live in a world where evil exists, and where good men and women must be capable of standing in defense of others when the moment demands it.

That’s why we train.

Violence is a tool. Like any tool, its value is determined by the hands and heart that wield it. In the hands of the righteous, strength can preserve life, protect the innocent, and stand against evil.

“O Church Arise” is a call to believers to stand firm with courage, discipline, and conviction. To be watchful. Prepared. Faithful.

Train with purpose.
Stand with conviction.
Pray for peace.
Prepare for war.

“Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.”
Psalm 144:1

“Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.”
Ephesians 6:10

Strength is not found in pride, ego, or self-reliance. True strength comes from the Lord.

We train hard because the world is broken. Evil exists. Violence exists. And good men must be capable of standing in the gap to protect those entrusted to them. But our confidence is not ultimately in our skill, our equipment, or our ability.

It is in Him.

Physical strength fades. Skill alone is not enough. But a man grounded in Christ can stand firm when fear, chaos, and pressure come.
