At Liga, we've always believed that sports are at their best when they bring people together.

Since we opened our doors, our goal was to build a community around a global game that connects people from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. With our second World Cup approaching, we're especially excited to celebrate the spirit of unity, community, and shared passion once again with all of you that helped us celebrate this occasion in 2022.

For that reason, we have decided not to show UFC Freedom 250.

This decision is not about politics, nor is it a statement against any individual, organization, or viewpoint. It's simply a reflection of the environment we've worked hard to create—one centered on acceptance, connection, and bringing people together through the sports that align with our mission.

With four World Cup matches and a possible Stanley Cup Finals Game 6 on the schedule that day, we've chosen to focus on the games and events that have helped shape the identity of our bar and the community we've built around them.

We respect that others may choose differently, and we appreciate everyone who continues to support Liga, thank you for understanding, and we’ll see you throughout the World Cup!
