Today we had so much fun learning about the Trinity and how it connects to St. Patrick! 🍀

We talked about how a simple clover can help us understand a big truth about God—just like the clover has three leaves but is still one plant, God is three in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The students loved making their own clover designs and talking about how each part of the Trinity loves and helps us every day.

Of course… we couldn’t let the day pass without a little leprechaun fun too! 🌈✨

Jesus was born in humility.
That means He came in a lowly, simple way—not as a fancy, untouchable king, but as someone we can come to easily.

He understands what it feels like to be small, to be overlooked, to not have the best or nicest things.

He didn’t choose a palace.
He chose a stable.

And that tells us something important:
With Jesus, you don’t have to be perfect or fancy. You just have to come with an open heart.

We've been studying advent these past few weeks, but today's lesson really hit hard.

In summary, we talked about the wise men and the shepherds together; how God called two opposite kinds of people to Jesus:
• Shepherds: ordinary, poor, overlooked
• Wise men: educated, wealthy, respected

But both groups did something important:
They followed when God spoke.
They moved toward Jesus.
They worshiped Him when they arrived.

The lesson for us:
Jesus came for absolutely everyone.
For the quiet ones. For the curious ones. For the brave ones. For the unsure ones. For the ones who know a lot, and the ones still learning.

In Advent, we are all on a journey—like the shepherds and the wise men—moving closer to Jesus.

If Jesus welcomes both the least expected people and the most expected people, then there is a place for us too.
And there is a place for the kid who sits next to you.
And the one who gets on your nerves.
And the one who is always smiling or always struggling.

So here we are. Holding our shepherd staffs and wearing our wisemen crowns, asking if we are more like a shepherd—someone who’s surprised God notices you or more like a wise man—someone who loves to ask questions and search for answers? Asking what it looks like for us to move toward Jesus this advent; thankful that God called both

As a staff, we draw strength from God’s Word. 💙📖 This week’s verse from Philippians 4:13 encourages us to rely on His strength as we teach, love, and serve our students.
