I drew this pen and ink sketch a few years ago after visiting my old home town of Mineral Wells Texas. The picture is of the Pool Bridge from the Baker Hotel as it looked at that time. Such an interesting and storied history of this town and Hotel in the west Texas hills. I can't wait to stop by again in the next week or so to take more pictures and see the progress in the rebirth of this hotel. Follow the progress of this beautiful hotel where Hollywood stars like Clark Gable, Ronald Reagan and Judy Garland would stay and mingle with other stars and politicians of the day.
