Today I did an arthroscopic trochanteric bursectomy, with IT Band release, and osteophyte (bone spur) resection.
The entire surgery was done in under 30 minutes and the patient felt better right away!
The first picture shows the anatomic landmarks I drew out. The next video shows the hip moving freely without rubbing against the IT band. The last picture shows the 2 tiny puncture marks sutured up!

Pool day! Teaching my boys how to dive and showing them how is done!!

My study just got published!!
Briefly, our knee replacement patients have some of the highest one-year outcome scores in the country (88 out of 100)!! This is done using mechanical-alignment philosophy using a medial congruent implant which mimics normal knee movements!!

Here is a "surgeons eyes view" of a minimally invasive hip fracture repair. As you can see, I have an incredible team of talented people helping me. We were able to fix this patient's hip in under 15 minutes.
