Palm Beach County operates the Special Needs Shelter Program during emergencies for individuals with certain medical conditions. This special shelter is staffed with doctors and nurses, has backup power, and is in a wind resistant building. Get your tickets now for the “Summertime BBQ Bash” which is part of Boca Chamber Festival Days (a series of fun filled events held at different locations during the month of August) and is facilitated by the Boca Chamber. Twin Palms Center for the Disabled and our sponsor 5 Spice Asian Street Market will create fun filled summertime activities on Thursday, August 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm! Reserved attendance is only $20.00 per adult, $10 for children 12 & under, or $25.00 per adult at the door. Attendees will be fed a lip-smacking BBQ meal of pulled pork, brisket, chicken, baked beans and cole slaw. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Boca Raton Society for the Disabled, Inc. d/b/a Twin Palms Center for the Disabled, a 501c(3) public charity.
