In Honor of CNA Appreciation Week, our residents wrote a love letter to those who help them every day.

We present to you - An Ode to CNAs.

To Our Dear CNA Friends…

We searched high and low for the best nurse aides
We started off in the Everglades
Seeing none there, we asked Paul, “Please!
Please take us right on down to the Keys!”

So out to Key West, Paul drove us all down
But we quickly realized there were none to be found
So we jumped on a plane and headed to Austin
Nothin’ much there, so we flew up to Boston

And when our search there was through
We stole an RV out to Kalamazoo
Not enough heart in the people we found
So we continued driving to Puget Sound

We stopped at the Space Needle out in Seattle
And tore through the countryside – nothing but cattle
We tried San Francisco and even Hollywood
But the people on stages only pretend to be good

We then set our sights on New York City
The people were cold, so we tried out Milwaukee
We even stopped off in Augusta, Maine
Before we searched all over the plains

So we came back home, and you know what we see?
YOU were here all along, standing in front of me
THANK YOU for all you do for us here
