FAU School of Accounting Executive Programs

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jim Riordan. Dr. Riordan, Director of the MBA in Sport Management program, has been with the college since 2000, and his leadership of this program was simply first-rate.

With Dr. Riordan’s leadership, the MBA Sport program has been consistently ranked as one of the top Sport MBA programs in the country. He has made connections, opened doors and helped shape the careers of hundreds of students over the years.

We all love and will miss Dr. Riordan. While his physical presence is no longer with us, he leaves an outstanding legacy here, and his spirit lives on within all of us in the Owl family.

The College of Business and FAU will hold a celebration of life in Dr. Riordan’s honor later this semester. Details will be provided about that event in a couple of weeks.
