Let your meals be simple! One of my post workout go-to’s. Quinoa, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, chicken breast and a drizzle of pesto (my most favorite sauce ever). When you build your meals, aim for balance, not perfection. Make sure you have all your macros represented with an emphasis on proteins 💪🏼, healthy fats 🥑, and complex carbs 🍄🟫.

There is an important difference between ground flax seeds and whole flax seeds! Flax seeds are delicate, which is why they have an amazing outer shell to protect the precious nutrients inside. When we buy pre-ground flax seeds, that shell is destroyed and the oils from the seeds become exposed and begin to oxidize.. this results in rancid oils and diminishing nutrient status. Try to always buy whole flax seeds and blend / grind them when you’re about to eat them to get the best quality product!
