BAAAD MOON Risin'

Not sure if Finn is guarding his treasures or if he thinks there is something better in the bottom.

Well--we knew it wasn't gonna be easy. The babies quickly found their new sleeping quarters and seemed happy and content------UNTILL-----they discovered the hoomens had a much larger bed and there were actually hoomens in it!!! Took a hot minute for them to discover the way up into the bed. That was fine-----UNTILL----someone ???? decided they needed to go potty or get a drink or get a snack. So we all go back outside and do our business. And of course since we are thirsty why wait to go back in and get water when you have a whole koi pond at your disposal? Our first introduction to the koi in the koi pond. Scooped out Fin and just as I got him back up---in goes Twila. Got that one scooped up and carried them both back in to dry them off. While one was getting dried off the other was eating and drinking. Got both fed, watered, and dried off and they very quickly curled up on the couch with blankies. Down and out for the count. And of course this hoomen is up on watch.

Well---went to visit and play with Twila today. Left buying one of her brothers. Fell in love with him so----now we will have 2 pups to raise. UGHHHH What have I done????? He is the largest/heaviest of the litter and a bit lighter in color than Twila. Both are very healthy and sweet. Took a pic of their dad (Mercury) and mom (Luna). Mercury looks just like our Gunther. Miss that boy SO much. Ed wanted to name the new male pup Gunny but I refused. That's a lot of pressure to put on a pup. There will never be another like Gunther. After searching (over 400) for a name for the new pup we have finally agreed on Finnigan. I wanted Maverick but I was out voted. Since I was the one to name Twila I figured he should be able to name the little boy. We were eventually stuck between Finnigan and H***h. We let Steve tie break. So----Finnigan it is!! Thank you STEVE!!!!! Here is a pic of Mercury and Luna today. Will post pics of Fin as soon as I get them.

EEEEE!!!!! Twila has her eyes open! 2 wks. old. Waiting for her is killing me!!! I just wanna kiss that precious nose!!
