Why are we “The Yellowphant”…?

This is our oldest son, L.B. (Little Brace). When he was just a toddler, he couldn’t quite say the word “elephant” yet….. he would say “lelophant” or “yellowphant.” When Big Brace decided to open the café, he almost immediately knew exactly what he was going to name it.

The Yellowphant isn’t just a business for us, this has been “our café” to our family. From waiting for the bus in the parking lot early in the morning, to eating breakfast for dinner late at night, and all the memories made in between… The Yellowphant has been a huge part of spending time together and watching our kids grow. We’re beyond grateful for all of the friends we’ve made, the support we’ve been given, and the ability to show our kids how they can give back to our community.

Thank you all for being part of our journey, and as always, we hope to keep growing and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
