Everyone, meet the newest member of the Wet Noses Animal Rescue family… DANCER! 🤍🐾

This adorable little fluffball weighs just 10 pounds, but her personality (and cuteness!) is absolutely larger than life.

Dancer came to us from Animal Control after the same heartbreaking backyard breeding situation was shut down. Like so many dogs from situations like this, she missed out on the love and care every dog deserves. Now she’s getting her chance to discover what it means to be safe.

Dancer is still a little unsure of the world and is learning that people can be trusted. Every wag, every cuddle, and every tiny step forward reminds us why rescue is worth it. Watching her come out of her shell has already been so rewarding. ❤️

Pete has watched dog after dog leave for their forever homes.

He has wagged his tail as his friends packed their bags.

Maybe it’s because he’s a black dog. Black dogs are statistically adopted more slowly, a phenomenon often called Black Dog Syndrome. Maybe people don’t stop long enough to see the incredible soul behind those beautiful brown eyes.
