Embrace The Experience

We are still adjusting to living in an RV and living in a sticks and bricks. One would thinks it’s easier, but it has been a challenge to adjust to both.

We have been so excited to take our annual beach trip this year, but the difference is we get to bring our own RV and have our own space 🥳

It has come with challenges though…

- Trying to pack up everything to leave at the end of a work day made it so we had our first travel day LEAVING at 4:45pm 😅
- One of our kiddos didn’t pack enough clothes for a week long vacation… so we had 3 options (only an outfit for 2 days 😂)
Option 1. Drive a 7 hour round trip back to Georgia to receive said clothes
Option 2. Let our kiddo wear dirty clothes every day
Option 3. Go buy some new clothes for said kiddo

Well, we decided to embrace the opportunity to take our kiddo to get a few new clothes that have been needed anyways.

This ended up having us at Walmart for 2.5+ hours an being late to dinner - but you know what, we have some new clothes, we made it to dinner safely, and we were *mostly* patient with each other (minus a few short tempers here and there after a long shopping trip).

Every day allows for improvemnt, but we have to embrace the day, embrace the experience, and know we always have eAch other.

You know it’s a good travel day when it ends with a sunset ♥️

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of sunshine, trees, and waterfalls.

It’s been a bit of an adventure since we got back to Georgia - between getting Marllen scheduled for service and being around friends and family, well, it’s been a whirlwind.

After being on the road for a year by ourselves, it’s been an adjustment getting back into managing a schedule with working with our team in person, and seeing friends and family.

It’s always important to take a step back away from your daily grind and look at what’s important, make time for self reflection, and connect with your partner (it’s nice having the grandparents close by 😝).
