The season for lake days, long weekends, al fresco dining, and more has arrived! Memorial Day Weekend always brings a bustling energy to Blue Ridge, and we are ready for it.

Our tasting this week will take place on Friday and Saturday, as we have a private event taking place in the shop this evening. This tasting screams summer vibes, with wines you will want to have on hand all season long.

Spanish Txakoli will kick us off, a tasty wine with mouthwatering zip and the slightest touch of fizz, sure to be one of your “it” wines of summer. Rosé of Pinot Noir is truly adult Lemonade in a bottle, and you’re going to want sip this one on the hot days that lie ahead. Nothing goes better with al fresco dining than chillable red wine, and we’ve got one from Tuscany in a 1L bottle, because more is definitely better with this wine. When the grill comes out it’s time for a juicy French Malbec, and we have an all-new selection that delivers the perfect balance of depth and freshness.

We love creating traditions, and featuring our first all-rosé flight of the year on Mother’s Day weekend has become one of ours. This weekend conveniently falls at just the right time when many of the new vintage rosé wines are hitting the shelves, and gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase some of our fresh arrivals.

Beautiful rosé wines are made all over the world, though it’s hard to argue that the French do it best, and more precisely the region of Provence, where rosé wines represent about 90% of the total production. So we’re kicking off rosé season with an all-French flight, three of which are from Provence. Each selection is fresh, crisp, dry, and ideal for Spring and Summer sipping.

Join us this week for this flight of beautiful French rosé wine!

* La Vidaubanaise Côtes de Provence “Le Provencal 2025 - Provence, France
* Chateau de Calavon Roquerousse Rosé 2025 - Provence, France
* Triennes Rosé 2025 - Provence, France
* Henri Bourgeois Pinot Noir ‘Pure’ Rosé 2025 - Loire Valley, France
