Mish Mash Mod

Pair of leather stools, produced by Cocheo Brothers, likely from the 60s/70s.

They were a family of Sicilian immigrants that set up shop at the turn of the century, hand making furniture in N.Y.C.

The original label calls this color saffron. We’re going with mustard around here, vintage leather gets the win no matter what color you call them. Excellent condition with minor signs of use.

Paul McCobb chair for Directional, c. 1949. He was such a icon of mid century design and we’re really excited to offer up this example from early in his career. His use of clean, modernist lines has resonated ever since. The angled base was a repeated detail he used for pieces of that era. You’ll likely want to update the fabric, but we’ll leave that decision up to you.
