B-Tech Fire & Security is currently seeking an Access Control & CCTV Technician!

Job Duties/Requirements Include:

• Installation of sophisticated systems including Brivo, ExacqVision, AiPhone, & Honeywell

• Develops and maintains B-Tech Fire & Security access/intrusion systems and field devices

• Responsible for wiring termination and system programming

• Maintains vendor/contractor relationships and ensures the quality of service provided

• Good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP Address schemes and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication issues

• Ability to read, understand and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics

• Performs advanced support functions

• Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service

• Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED

• Favorable background check required

• Work on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as, fire/life safety systems, CCTV and intercom systems

Physical Demands Include:

• Finger/wrist dexterity & hand/eye coordination

• Ability to work on a ladder

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and drive a vehicle

• Safely and effectively use general hand and power tools

• Effectively use a cell phone and cell phone app for work order processing

• Fire Alarm Installation, Service and Inspection

• Security Alarm Installation and Service

• CCTV Installation and Service

• Access Control and Low Voltage System Installation and Service

Job Duties/Requirements Include:

Perform service, installation, and inspections on fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV systems, access control and low voltage systems
Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Minimum of high school diploma or GED
A minimum of 2 years experience is preferred but will train the right candidate
Favorable background check required
NICET certifications a plus
