Happy Friday everyone! We have an exciting lineup tomorrow, featuring our first garlic of the season! This is freshly harvested, uncured garlic--a treat you won't find in grocery stores. They're much easier to prepare, often without the need to peel each individual clove, and the flavor is unmatched.
Beets are also back! We'll have them this week, and then we'll have another break until our next round is ready.
On the farm this week, we started our first Fall seeds--cabbage. We added shadecloth to our 2 heirloom tomato houses, in preparation for next week's scorching forecast. We spent aloooot of time weeding, and alot of time planting! We could've done without all the rain today, but otherwise, not a bad week!
