We've been working with our colleagues from Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County and recently updated our Safe Place Dashboard. The new iteration features a dashboard showing the 107 locations of Safe Places across Monroe, Brown, Greene, and Owen Counties, as well as a Safe Place locator that allows users to find the Safe Place nearest to them with walking directions. You can find it here:

Safe Place is a program designed to provide access to immediate help and safety to young people at risk of abuse, neglect or serious family problems. Businesses, community buildings and buses that are designated as Safe Place sites prominently display a distinctive yellow and black Safe Place logo. Any youth can walk into a Safe Place and let an employee know that they need help. They are then quickly connected with a youth serving agency that can provide the help they need.

Monroe County is experiencing an extreme heat warning until July 3rd. We've worked with our colleagues in Monroe County Emergency Management to develop a map that shows cooling stations across Monroe County. This is mobile friendly application that will help you identify the closest station near you:

Aerial imagery captured by the European Space Agency and displayed on their Copernicus Browser shows the damage path left by the tornado that struck the northern part of the County on June 17th. We've taken this and paired it with imagery from June 5th to provide a before and after depiction of the tornado's route. You can explore more imagery from the Copernicus Browser here:

Hey there informed voters of Monroe County!

Tonight we will be posting live election updates for the 2026 Primary via our Election Reporting Dashboard. This will show results as we receive them from the Clerk's Office at both the Precinct and County-Wide scale. The first update should occur after 6PM and then periodically through the night as votes are tabulated. These dashboards are configured for both Desktop and Mobile viewing, with the latter having fewer bells and whistles. You can find these here:

In collaboration with our Voter Registration Office, we've created an early voting data dashboard for the 2026 Primary. This dashboard is updated nightly, and provides historical data to compare past midterm early voting primary results with our current election cycle.

Here's a link to the dashboard:

We've configured it to work on both desktop (more bells and whistles) as well as mobile devices.

We'll also be running a separate dashboard during the primary on May 5th. Let us know if you have any questions or comments!
