🐝 Pollinators deserve safer solutions.
Neonicotinoid pesticides can harm bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife—but there are safer, effective alternatives:
• Grub-Gone: A bio-insecticide that uses naturally occurring Bacillus thuringiensis galleriae (Btg).
• Milky spore: A naturally occurring bacterium that targets Japanese beetle grubs (best applied in late summer).
• Spring Tiphia wasps: Beneficial parasitic wasps that naturally help control Japanese beetle grubs.
Small changes in our lawns and gardens can make a big difference for Connecticut's pollinators and wildlife. 🌼🐝
