Wind RIders

Week 2 for Corporation Wind Riders has been instrumental in our development as a group. Firstly, we have taken time out of our days to truly get to know each other on a deep and personal level. This commitment to working collaboratively has also bled into the research and ideation work we have conducted as a group.

Through our research, Wind RIders has encountered 4 core themes we thought were necessary to our success to our group:

1. The significant benefits of wind energy and why it is a pioneer within the industry
2. As a corporation, who are we serving? We identified the youth as a demographic that is highly interested in renewable energy and is exactly the type of work force the industry needs
3. The theory and statistics behind the profitable wind industry and how it is an affordable future for all
4. The leader of wind energy in the nation, WindWInRI, has created programming for high schoolers to bridge the gap between schooling and the workforce

As we continue to pursue the most effective avenues for change, Wind Riders will continue to utilize and lean on the research we have conducted so that our ideas are rooted in truth and science.
