I love my dog:
Glenfiddich, a Scottish Terrier, came to my home in October 2002. He fit into my clog very easily. He was typical Scottie, his opinion was first, but we reached mutual decisions and accepted each other. I soon learned he hated rain and loved the snow.
Time flew by; weeks became months; months became years… He became an outstanding listener and was constantly where I was. All of a sudden there was this lump in his throat. Glenfiddich had cancer. Our time was intensified in a very conscious way. I was really hoping he would make it to roll around in the snow one more time. My heart melted one morning on the first blanketing of snow that Winter; watching him play among the snowflakes, his happiness seemed unending. Glenfiddich went to sleep last December in my arms at our home. We saved his eyebrows because they were such a statement of his character. At the time, I didn't exactly know what I would do with them.
In January, I read a story about Infinity Diamond in the newspaper and I then knew why I had saved the eyebrows.
This summer, I received a beautiful blue diamond - the Glenfiddich Diamond - completely unique and stunning as the source of such great life and years shared. I learned of humble quiet care and loving interaction. I learned to be kinder and not to be so harsh....
Thank you Glenfiddich - and now I wear your unique diamond.
