Artificial Intelligence (AI) minor Employers across all fields increasingly seek graduates who can collaborate with AI tools, interpret AI-driven outputs, and communicate responsibly about AI.

When Virginia Tech students traveled to Egypt this spring, the experience became about far more than seeing the pyramids. It became about collaboration, friendship, and learning alongside Egyptian students on real-world computer science projects.

Before departure, changing events in the Middle East raised understandable concerns. Virginia Tech’s Global Education Office and Global Travel Oversight Committee carefully reviewed conditions, shared guidance and resources with students, and maintained open communication so families and students could make informed decisions with confidence.

For the Hokies who went, the result was a life-changing experience filled with global teamwork, cultural exchange, and friendships that continue long after the trip ended. 🌍🧡
