We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the team from Pheasantland Industries—Director Rene Stolsmark and Zaid—as well as NDDOCR Reentry Workforce Coordinator Kristy Bendel for taking the time to visit and tour our operations in Jamestown and Bismarck.
Visits like these provide a valuable opportunity to share ideas, identify future collaborative opportunities, and learn from our friends just across the border. Working together strengthens both of our programs while advancing our shared mission of preparing individuals for successful reentry through meaningful employment and workforce development.
The tour also gave Rough Rider Industries the chance to showcase our recent program investments and highlight the industry-recognized skills our residents are learning—skills that many of today's employers are actively seeking.
Also pictured is a recently completed Patriot Blanket, handcrafted by one of our talented residents using discarded fabric from our sewing operation. This project is a great example of creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship in action.
As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, Rough Rider Industries wishes everyone a safe and Happy 250th Celebration! Thank you again to Pheasantland Industries and Kristy Bendel for spending part of your busy schedules with us. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to future opportunities to work together.

Wow! Progress continues on our paint system modernization project at Rough Rider Industries.
Our new wet paint booth has been installed, and work has now begun on the powder coating line. The photos show the area before demolition and what it looks like today. It's incredible to see the transformation taking place.
The previous paint system was installed in 1982, so it has been many years since this space was last exposed. The installation of the new powder coating system is scheduled to begin on July 7, marking another major milestone in this project.
We are excited to see this investment come to life and look forward to the increased efficiency, improved technology, and enhanced training opportunities it will provide for our residents and staff.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses!
