Carcassone castle in southern France was another highlight to our trip! Here are some photos of the gothic architecture of the church within the castle walls.
The rose stained glass was very beautiful. The exterior downspouts were sculpted cats. Very unique.

Another Big beautiful church in Rome. A Basilica, but not THE Basilica.
The artwork on the ceilings were just so real looking. The sculptures were amazing.
Look at the pipe organ, I would have loved to hear the acoustics for music here.

What a great day to support a great cause. 31:8 Project

As many of you know that I participate in an online Bible study on Tuesday mornings. It is an inductive study. We choose a few verses, take time to contemplate & share with each other what the Holy Spirit has laid on our hearts with each other. It is so inspiring & insightful to get a deeper understanding of God’s living word.
We are working through Hebrews & it has been eye opening.
We are looking for 2 more people to join. Would you be interested? Tuesday mornings on zoom at 8:30 CT.

Along the Cinque Terre, Italy was a stone church. We stopped to step in & was amazed. It was done in alternating black & white stone. The door must have been bronze, now green, but it had unusual sculptures on it. A treasure for sure!
