There’s no better compliment than when someone asks if the original patina has been clear coated. Short answer, nope! 😎
This 62’ Chevy C10 spent some time with us for a full correction to bring that original paint back around. It received:
- Full wash, bug removal, iron decon
- surface prep
- 2 step polish
- 2 layer sealant
- 2 layer wax
- white accent correction (bumpers and misc)
- wheel polish
- small chip touch up
Thanks for looking! Projects like these are super fun. It’s hard to beat bringing back the shine on 60 year old paint ✨

One of our latest projects, this beautiful 2017 Grand Sport came in for the full Midwest Shine treatment! ✨
The vette fell victim to one of the toughest things for paint, a touch-style car wash. While it may look like the brushes spin away the road grime and debris, it’s leaving thousands of small-medium scratches in your top layer, resulting in a dull finish. We’re happy to say that 99% of the defects have been removed giving it a crystal clear finish!
It received:
- Full wash, bug + tar removal
- Major Brake caliper cleaning
- Iron decon
- Clay bar
- Wheel/tire cleaning
- Rotary Wool + Compound
- DA Wool + polish
- DA Foam + polish
- DA Finish polish
- Headlight + taillight correction
- 2 layer ceramic
- 2 layer gloss coat
- Trim ceramic
- Wheel ceramic
- Windshield ceramic
- Carbon ceramic
- Vinyl ceramic
Thanks for looking! This was a challenge for sure, but that final result is so worth it!
