Sunday Service at Calvary Bisbee – June 14, 2026

What a special and memorable Sunday at Calvary Bisbee!

We took time to lovingly send off Pastor Ryan and Michelle Borquez as they begin a new chapter of ministry at Calvary Sierra Vista.

We are so thankful for their faithful service, leadership, friendship, and the impact they have made on our church family.
We also prayed over and wished Pastor Bill and Christian Bonner well as they step into this next season of life.
They will always be a part of the Calvary Bisbee family.

At the same time, we were excited to officially welcome our new pastor, Pastor Art Thomasson, and his wife Kim to Calvary Bisbee. We are looking forward to all that God has in store as they lead our fellowship in the days ahead.

Pastor Art taught from the second half of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, reminding us that God is restoring and refining His people. Some key points from the message included:

• God's name should be glorified above all else.
• God's kingdom and His will should be our priority.
• We are called to bring our daily needs and petitions before the Lord.
• God desires a daily, intimate relationship with us.
• Forgiveness is essential in the life of every believer.
• We can trust God because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
• Temptation comes from our own flesh and the enemy, but God is faithful to strengthen us.
• Prayer keeps us close to the heart of God.

"Pray and have that intimate relationship with God."
