🏡 A transformational milestone for Chandler.

This week, the City Government of Chandler, Arizona, Arizona celebrated the grand opening of Villas on McQueen, completing the city’s first public housing conversion through HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program.

The new 157-unit affordable housing community replaces public housing neighborhoods that served Chandler families for more than 50 years, creating modern, safe, and dignified homes for current and future residents.

As Mayor Kevin Hartke noted, “These modern, affordable homes replace aging public housing with safe, dignified places to live. This project reaffirms our commitment that Chandler should be a place where people of every income level can thrive.”
