UAB Army ROTC

The Blazer Battalion had the opportunity to attend the State FTX at Ft. McClellan this past weekend. They mixed in with cadets from other schools and learned to work together to achieve success on various STX lanes. They also got to work on their marksmanship skills at Pelham Range. Congratulations to CDT Gargollo, who recieved a coin for being hero of the battle on the Ambush Lane!

This past weekend, our cadets went out to Ft McClellan to test their strength in the field. They completed multiple iterations of land navigation, the Leadership Reaction Course, and the Obstacle Course. All cadets finished strong on their first overnight FTX of the semester!
