We're going to be inside one it appears!

Most of Alabama will not get significant rain (don't read that as no rain at all) through the middle of next week if this pattern sets up like I think it will.

That big plume of heavier rain west of us? It MIGHT shift this way, but I wouldn't count on it.

The drought is going to get drought-ier.

The storms are officially gone, and a nearly 10-day dry stretch is building across Alabama! ☀️🙌 But heads up—the heat is coming right along with it. 📈🔥

Wednesday: A mild morning before the front arrives. 🌡️ Low-to-mid 80s with a SSW breeze at 10-15 mph. 💨

Thursday: The front pushes through! 🌬️ Breezy from the NNE and that humidity drops hard. Upper 70s to low 80s. 📉

Friday: One of the nicest mornings of the week! ☕ Some of us will even drop into the upper 40s. Mostly sunny and low-to-mid 80s. 😎

Saturday: The air starts to change. 🥵 Hotter and more humid. Upper 80s.

Sunday: Feeling like June! ☀️ Upper 80s to low 90s.

THE OUTLOOK: 🗺️
No significant rain is in the forecast from the Tennessee border to the Gulf Coast through at least the middle of next week. 🚫🌧️ The drought recovery we made last week will slowly slip away as the heat builds.
