We’re excited to announce that
Gyros Cafe is officially OPEN
and ready to welcome you back!

On May 7, 2026, our restaurant experienced a small kitchen fire incident involving a grill station. The incident occurred after the table supporting the grill became unstable and tipped over. Due to the building’s sloped/hill positioning, the equipment shifted unexpectedly, which caused the grill to overturn and resulted in a localized fire event.

The restaurant’s fire suppression system activated properly, and emergency services responded promptly to contain the situation. The fire was controlled quickly, and no major structural damage or serious injuries were reported.

As a precaution, operations were temporarily paused while cleanup, inspection, and safety evaluations are completed. We are currently reviewing equipment placement and stability measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
