No tomatoes wasted after my Italian baby shower 🍅🍅🍅 I made homemade pasta sauce for the first time and it was so delish (& super easy) 🍝
The recipe: cut your tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet, cut up a yellow onion to spread across them, along with fresh garlic cloves. Drizzle generously with olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, and cane sugar across the pan - make sure they are all well coated. Roast at 400 degrees for 45 minutes - until the edges are lightly browned and the tomatoes are soft and juicy. Transfer them to the blender after cooling some and add fresh basil, mix well and store in mason jars or freeze in bags!
