Soooo..…momprenuership is tough. Married or not. There’s this balancing act that never quite seems to, balance. You find yourself having to decide between watching a “mom, can you watch a movie with me” movie with the kiddos or meeting a deadline for the business that you’re working so hard build. But, do things ever really balance as an entrepreneur? Its truly understanding that the blood, sweat, and tears are apart of it. The putting the laptop aside to create memories is a real thing. The moments you sneak late at night when you lie in bed with the young ones as to almost apologize for being buried earlier in your phone or computer working. Its real.

A couple of weeks ago, I submitted an application for a momprenuer grant. Well, before submitting, the application needed a video. The video was to explain who you were, what you did, why you need the grant, etc.. So in true momprenuer form, I didn’t realize I hadn’t submitted the video. It was the very last day, almost down to the very last hour. I was at the park at my sons baseball game and I looked CRAZY. But with my crazy hair, zero makeup, and not so cool baseball mom clothes, I slid away from the game, with my son throwing his hands up like “mom, why aren’t you watching my game!”. I slipped away to record my video-and here we are, a Semi-Finalist.

We had to share this news. We are over the moon to have been selected as a semi-finalist!!!!
