This morning, board members from PRCA/PRSSA at UAB hosted a workshop for CMST 340 students and shared some insightful tips on how to navigate writing a backgrounder.

At Fiesta Birmingham, hosted by HICA!, PRCA/PRSSA at UAB members volunteered by supporting Fiesta’s carnival activities located in the family village. Members made sure children and young adults had fun celebrating Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month while also staying safe and providing incoming attendees into Linn Park with Fiesta wristbands.

Members reported a great day of fun and cultural celebration, making the student chapter’s first Fiesta event successful. We move onto October: the month of leadership.
