Grow Into Adulthood

Càng trưởng thành, càng muốn về nhà
Chẳng phải vô tình, cũng chẳng phải hữu ý, nhưng mỗi lần có một con gà 🐓 để nấu cơm, nhà mình luôn làm hai món: gà luộc lấy nước sáo gà ăn cơm, rồi gà kho gừng 🫚 xả ớt 🌶️. Lần này cũng vậy. Mà lúc chan cơm 🍚 với nước luộc gà (người bắc mình gọi là nước sáo gà), nỗi nhớ nhà trào lên nhất là nhớ bà ngoại. Những cái tết xưa ở nhà bà luôn có miến gà, gà kho gừng, thịt đông, giò thủ, và những cái chả giò chiên mà đến lúc ăn thì nó đã ỉu mất rồi. Những điều giản dị đó, phải mãi sau này mình mới cảm nhận được giá trị.
Chúng ra thường chỉ nhận ra giá trị của những điều bình thường trong cuộc sống khi mà nó mất đi. Và điều đó thật đáng tiếc. Đôi khi cũng cần sống chậm lại một chút, chiêm nghiệm nhiều hơn để hiểu được hạnh phúc 🙂 có thể đơn giản là những điều ngay bên cạnh mình mỗi ngày.

Three more days, and 2022 will not be able to come back.
2022 is the year that I have seen myself intensely growing into adulthood. Mainly, I had finished my bachelor's and moved up to pursue my dream career as a biomedical researcher. I also determined that my next five years will be dedicated to learning and doing science and getting a Ph.D. I always wished for.
For Grow Into Adulthood, there are many things that I wish I could have done this year to enhance this blog. Time and project management are definitely the skills I will learn more about and incorporate into my daily life in 2023.
Do I have any regrets about what I've done or not done this year?
Absolutely YES. Some goals have yet to be made. Some projects still need to be completed, and so on. Nevertheless, I believe in time, effort, energy, persistence, and perseverance. Those are the attributes that will last and keep us moving forward.
So whatever you are doing for the rest of the year, whether you are out of school for winter break or still working, I hope you can embrace your 2022 no matter what and be proud of how much you have matured this year. I hope you can get some rest and take care of your mental health to celebrate a brighter the new year of 2023.
