🌊 We are highlighting ambassador Allison Fundis for her dedication to STEM education. The former biology and chemistry teacher is now the Chief Operating Officer at Nautiluslive, a program that broadcasts live deep-sea discoveries from the Exploration Vessel “Nautilus” to schools and the public. Her team is even looking for Amelia Earhart’s plane!

Prior to her Nautilus days, Allison worked with the National Science Foundation (NSF)'s Ocean Observatories Initiative at the University of Washington plan to install the U.S.’s largest cabeled seafloor observatory. From there, she developed programs and resources for students to utilize the observatory’s real-time data. Thank you for your dedication, Allison! Being able to see real scientists in action helps motivate young scholars tremendously
