Loving these spring themed mixed media pieces created by one of our 1:1 students. He used paint markers, oil & soft pastels, washi tape, stickers, & pressed flowers. The artist behind these is non-verbal and uses art as a form of communication. These materials came together beautifully, but the art making process is deeper & has more benefits than just the way it looks. Art making is an outlet that just so happens to have so many benefits including increased focus, planning, fine motor skills, sensory needs, and so much more.
