💖 Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cake 🍫

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cake Layers:
1 1/2 cups + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
2/3 cup egg whites (about 5 egg whites)
1 cup buttermilk (room temperature)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Buttercream:
2 cups unsalted butter (room temperature)
6 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Directions:

Bake Cake Layers: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-inch heart-shaped cake pans. Mix dry ingredients, then add butter and eggs. Pour in buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. Bake for 32-35 minutes.
Prepare Frosting: Beat butter, then add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, and vanilla until smooth.

1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup lavender milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Lavender Buttercream:
8 large egg whites
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups unsalted butter
1/4 cup lavender milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:

Lemon Curd: Whisk sugar, zest, egg yolks, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook until thick, then add butter. Strain and cool.
Lavender Milk: Heat milk and steep lavender for 15 minutes. Strain and cool.

Directions:
