Might be biased, but I’ve been wanting to show this one off for a real long while!

We spent an entire year trying to fix internally, just trying to get her to eat a little bit more food so when we did get into a prep again, she wouldnt be at 1000 calories and hours of cardio half through (boy are we there at the end though).

Morgan has spent every year we have been together trying to get me to do personal training and coaching, and it takes a lot of trust to have your previously-obese-husband-coach who hasn’t seriously done this for a long time tell you to eat more to have a successful bodybuilding prep later. I am not only honored to have an individual give me their all, but blessed to have someone push me into doing this thing and us both be successful.

Still got a couple days left until show day for her in Bikini and Wellness divisions so this isn’t even the stage look, so lets see what happens!

Big absolute monstrous thank you to the man for helping guide me through her prep and her peak week this week. Tavish is a remarkable dude helping some random Olympia convention guy he met (me) without hesitation prep for the first time and doing things the right way. Very fortunate to have met him and get to know him through this process, and we’re both stoked to see what Morgan brings to the Big Sky Championships here in less than a week!

Truly an awesome experience watching everything we’ve picked up and learned, applied to the process, and then work as the bodybuilding gods intended 😂

One of my favorite things to do that I got from a different book, The Slight Edge, is read some sort of book for 10 pages a night. Little things done consistently over time compound to big things!

The most recent one I have taken the time to run through is called the Happiness Advantage, and it talks about how backwards our thought process is that success comes before happiness, when in reality it is the opposite.
