That’s how hot it got inside our food truck yesterday.

Somehow, despite the heat, our crew never skipped a beat. Watching this team work together made me incredibly proud, and I’m beyond thankful for every single one of them. We started off strong grilling burgers and had no breaks. They were fueled by Powerade and the drive to get your orders out as fast as possible and were just amazing!

To everyone who stood in line in the blazing sun—thank you. We know it wasn’t easy, and we hope our misting fan helped make the wait a little more bearable.

As the afternoon went on and the temperature inside the truck continued to climb, we appreciate the decision DBA made to close a little early to keep everyone safe.

A huge thank you to rollhouse_bakery for treating their staff with a large order. Supporting fellow local businesses is what community is all about.

And of course, thank you to Downtown Billings for putting on another outstanding Strawberry Festival. It’s always amazing to see downtown packed with people supporting local businesses, vendors, and each other.

Yesterday really did have me questioning why I sign up for this! Long days, tired feet, pressing burgers non-stop, and a truck that felt like an oven. I definitely need to schedule a “relief smasher” for the second half of this shift as the carpal tunnel is acting up today! It is all worth it though because of this incredible community and I love the joy you share when you connect with our food!
