FREE Winter Coat / Jacket Distribution in Big Spring on Saturday, Feb. 19th

BIG SPRING, TX -- Last month the United Way of Big Spring and Howard County collected new and gently used winter coats and jackets to distribute to those in need. This Saturday, Feb. 19th, at 10 AM the local non-profit organization will be set up for a coat distribution outside of the YMCA of Big Spring, 801 Owens - near the corner of 10th and Owens.

According to Christian Fair, Executive Director for the United Way of Big Spring and Howard County, there will be jackets and coats of all sizes from kids to adults. No paperwork will be required and no ID will be requested, simply show up and choose a coat that suits you and will keep you warm. She told KBest News that this event is open to everyone and no questions will be asked, and all coats and jackets are free to take. The coat/jacket distribution will continue on Saturday morning until all coats are gone.
