USAR community mourns the passing of Mass. task force founder Mark Foster founded Massachusetts Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue Team in 1990

We are saddened to report the passing of recently retired BEMA director, Mark Foster. Mark was an integral part of the emergency services field in New England for many years. We will miss you, Mark.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Foster. He literally built MA-TF1 from the ground up and we are forever grateful, this was his second home for 30 plus years before his retirement last year. He was truly a pioneer in the US&R system, He will be greatly missed. More info to follow.
